VK.GY's September 2024 Releases Playlist

Little known fact about me, but I've been pretty into visual kei since 2022 or so, ever since I went down the "vocaloid->who the hell is yohio->whats all this vkei stuff then->I have worms now" pipeline. I wouldn't say I'm a super-fan but I guess I know my way around the block.

I also got kind of obsessed with archiving the profiles for newer bands onto Rate Your Music, and it's led me to endlessly browsing vk.gy for new stuff. And it's actually been a great way for me to discover newer bands (formed post-2018 or so), especially considering its a tad difficult finding people that are talking about newer bands in English-speaking areas of the internet. Here in the west, vkei fans mostly gravitate towards older bands like Malice Mizer and BUCK-TICK, the late-greats and whatnot. Malice Mizer is pretty goddamn good and worthy of all of their praise, and BUCK-TICK is one of my all-time favorite bands, but lets show some love for newer groups, please?
